We specialize in control and disease state matrices manufactured from human and animal blood, plasma, and serum, which are used in drug discovery, compound development, clinical and research diagnostics.
Our products enable scientists and biomedical researchers to better understand the pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism of newly discovered compounds and the effect on disease processes Primary objectives:
Supervises employees in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; supporting managers/directors in performance appraisals; reviewing weekly timesheets and time-off requests; providing regular feedback, and setting individual goals aligned with team and department goals.
The Lab Manager, Hatboro is primarily responsible for preparing samples, completing testing and QC for customer orders.
In addition, the individual will perform all tasks needed to maintain the lab equipment and facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Assist in preparation of samples by performing light lab duties including:
o filtering and aliquoting material o centrifugation o defibrination of plasma o lipid stripping o high volume filtration Assume Lab Analysts duties and responsibilities as required, including performing analyses of samples if needed.
Appropriate training elements must be completed (SOP signoff and passing DOC) to run samples Run controls - review QC daily, maintenance, troubleshoot, calibration, renew serve contract Ordering of controls, calibrations and reagents Review calibrations Schedule yearly calibration.
Calibrate all thermometers yearly and provide replacements for all centers when broken Quarterly precisions, shipping QC, email SP QC Simulated refrigerator and freezer's quarterly Review SOP's and participate as part of the QA Committee Order necessary supplies needed for lab TELECOMMUTING REQUIREMENTS (if applicable):
