Position
Summary:
This position is responsible for the oversight of the patient caseload within a psychiatric Outpatient clinic.
This position coordinates eligibility checks, scheduling, and staffing within the Outpatient and School Based Outpatient programs.
The Programs Coordinator will act as a liaison between programs and the community members to ensure individuals have access to clinically appropriate support in numerous office settings.
This position requires management and oversight of referrals and discharges, in an office setting.
The ideal candidate will possess organizational skills with a history of customer service and client interactions.
This is considered an in-office, full-time position, requiring 2 days of evening hours.
Required
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED 1 or more years of experience working in a community behavioral health environment 1 or more years of experience taking a high volume of phone calls 1 or more years of experience with data tracking Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelors' Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology or related field Prior Customer Service experience Competency in managing multiple complex projects Program
Responsibilities:
Triage all referrals while ensuring care is provided in a timely manner Assure patient needs are prioritized at all times Manage referral process from initial call through insurance check, verifying patient eligibility, scheduling initial appointments, and ensure care is provided in a timely manner Attend community events/fairs and meetings representing the agency Liaise between Child and Family Focus, and local School Districts focusing on customer services, community partnerships, and advocacy for youth and young people in need Finalize discharge procedures for individuals and families receiving care within the program Complete clinical chart reviews, authorizations, and use of DocuSign platform to attain electronic signatures Utilize multiple electronic health records Support the administrative team with necessary administrative tasks Additional duties as assigned
Essential Functions:
Write, read, and communicate effectively in various platforms such as email, over the phone, over virtual video conferencing, and in person.
Utilize computer equipment on a daily basis.
Utilize office equipment (phone, fax, copier and scanner) Maintain valid driver's license and insurance Document case activity through progress notes and other program specific paperwork by typing or handwriting as well as utilizing EHRs including CareLogic Organize and upload paperwork into client specific charts Ability to work both individually and in teams Ability to work in a drug free workplace Effectively communicate and interact with clients, peers and community representatives Current child abuse, criminal and FBI clearances Physical Demands:
Sitting Standing Walking Driving Lift up to 15 pounds Physical ability to perform or capability to be trained in CPR, first aid, fire safety, the delivery of safe physical management techniques and other trainings and/or tasks as required.
Work Environment:
Work in standard office environment as well as community settings to include client home, schools, court, doctor's offices and hospitals.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
